Mikka enjoys books, that is clear, but her love of them goes far beyond “Oh I like a good story” as you can find good stories in many other forms of media. It’s the idea and aesthetic of books that helps pull her in closer; sitting down on a cold day next to a fire or wrapped in warm clothing, sipping on cocoa, while having a movie play out in your mind. That’s what gets her. Movies are also something she enjoys, but more so for the entertainment aspect than anything too philosophical. However, considering that she has epilepsy the number of films she is able to watch without getting a headache or migraine is… limited to say the least. Her condition can sometimes lead to her having to lock herself in her room with the lights turned off and the shades closed as it reduces the pain of headaches and migraines. Her disdain for “the big city” is caused by this.
